i liked it February 1, 2008 Blake M. Bartenbach (Omaha, NE USA) not a totally jaw dropping mix or anything, but i definately wont be deleting any of this off my ipod. got some really catchy songs.
It takes time to enjoy this CD May 28, 2007 W. Ko (Los Angeles, CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I first got the CD, I was a little disappointed. After listening to Lee's Disc for about 3 times, I started to feel the beat. At that point I was wondering why Sander did a poor job on his Disc. After listening to Lee's Disc for about 1 week, I decided to give Sander's Disc another try, and I was surprised because Sander's disc had a better set than Lee's Disc(which was already amazing), but it just took time to get into this CD.
Half good in my opinion February 21, 2007 D. Martin I liked Sander's disc a lot. His style is very off-beat and different than most of his peers. He has a taste for mixing unusual trance and house tracks as his style. I enjoyed his mix as much as his other "This is Everybody" compilations and perhaps the best of the 5 total discs in his sets.
On the otherhand, I cannot say much for the Burridge compilation. To me, it was boring. It didn't have the flash and sounds I have come to love in the Electronica genre. His style is much more subtle than the multi-layered and complex rhythms of most trance/house stylings. Much more simple synth cords over solid beats. Not quite my taste, but perhaps others differ.
Give it a few good listens! February 6, 2007 RH (Beirut) First listen: mediocre, disappointment Second listen: Lee's disc has some great beats Third listen: SANDER's HIDDEN GENIUS EMERGES!!!! I Love both CD's. To me, it's one of Sander's best. Just give it a good listen in your car, Alone, no interruptions. You will rediscover the hidden subtleties behind Sander's head-thumping beats! The progression is even better than his other two Everybody's. Lee's disc was amazing, great tunes, great beats. But Lee fails to meet the depth and classy talent that Sander pulsates with. Dark, powerful, and confident DJ'ing from both CD's! They also managed to add some great funky flavors by using lots of COWBELL and CLAPPING! My ears are aching from listening to this cd too loud
Sander seems to release one great recording for a while January 6, 2007 GK (Krakow, Poland) and since the previous one was absolutely amazing, this one is....I threw it out the car window. I've never heard such boring and random acts wimp ness as this recording is. So sticking to my trend next one should be much better.
