Album Description Brand new 2XCD mix from Holland's acclaimed DJ/Producer Sander Kleinenberg. This man knows how dancefloors work: he's instigated sweaty scenes around the world, observing what makes people move from Boston to Belfast to Buenos Aires. Ultimately, the mechanics of the dancefloor revolve around just one thing: good dance music. Sander knows about this, too. As a DJ, he has released two critically acclaimed mix CD's: the first for G.U.'s NUBREED series and the second for ESSENTIAL MIX. The last two years have also been a watershed for Sander as a producer: from his recent massive remixes of JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S "ROCK YOUR BODY" and J Records' ANNIE LENNOX, to his original productions which are regularly championed by the elite progressive house & trance DJ's around the world, Sander is following close in the footsteps of PAUL OAKENFOLD and DEEP DISH by establishing himself as a world class DJ, producer, and big-name remixer. On Renaissance Presents: Everybody, Sander dips into a deep bag of funky dancefloor numbers that present the best in current progressive house sounds while also giving us a glimpse into the future of the genre.

Pretty close to perfect... September 17, 2006 J. Wahlgren (boston) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sander K said something to the likes of "If it's perfect, there's no point in doing it anymore." This album is pretty close. Good funky grooves and cool introduction make for a solid progressive album. It gets a little repetitive at times so maybe it isn't perfect, but pretty cool. The first cd gets better as it approaches Rock- Be as one and Stars. These are great tracks.
other reviews seem a little inflated July 15, 2006 Isak Reichlin-Andrews (Olympia, WA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this CD based in large part due to the numerous high reviews by other people but I was kind of dissapointed with the CD. It's not that the CD was bad.....it just wasn't that good, pretty mediocre in my opinion. Most of the songs sound pretty generic but "My Memory" is a really good song. Not particularly recommended.
Sander my Savior! March 23, 2006 Jack 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For me, Sander defined deep / funky house. This two disc set flows smoothly, mainly tapping into the deep, 4/4, 120BMP speaker shaking tracks he blends so perfectly. A ton of or9a$m*c BASS!!! You may not love every track at first, but give it time and you'll find loving certain tracks first, others second and finally listening to the mix all the way through, non-stop, over and over again. My iTunes "play count" hovers high on all of his tracks - even single(s) remixes. Almost anything Mr. Kleinenberg touches turns to pure 11pm-6am gold. Great for driving, too.
Great tracks but rough in some spots... February 2, 2006 Robert (Anchorage, Alaska United States) It seems that Sander's mixing is consistent with his NuBreed compliation- I was thoroughly blown away by NuBreed's first disc, with its fluid mixing and impecable track selection. Disc two however left much to be desired. The same can be said about Everybody as some moments are sheer brilliance while others seem mediocre. For instance, the second disc is mixed brilliantly mixed up until My Memory, which is an outstanding record but loses some of its luster after an unimpressive mix out of Therapy. Also, 2 Bags of Grass seems tacked on and out of place on the disc. Overall this is a phenomenal CD that really highlights his talent as a DJ and producer, despite the rough patches.
get everybody! October 29, 2005 John Feider 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
CD1: 5 stars CD2: 5 stars Sander K always manages to compose well thought out and mixed sets. Everybody is no exception. It has a retro or old school feel to it in several parts, which makes it both funny and enjoyable. Intense beats are thrown into the tracks as well, which are madly addicting. You'll find yourself walking down the street playing the beat patterns back in your head or whistling a wordless ditty. The vocals are solid and well chosen. Everybody gets better with each listen because I initially didn't like it at first. Now I can't keep it out of my playlists. Don't let pass this one pass you up!
