VERY NICE December 26, 2000 MH (Brisbane Australia) This is one of those songs that if you hear it in a club without knowing ho its produced by, you have basically no way of finding out who it is. With that said, this is a very nice trance song that takes you and sucks you in deeper the more you listen to it. As simplistic as it may sound, with very repeptitive beats and melodie/s it does have depth. About half a minute into it you realise that the repetitiveness just keeps on coming. This sorta thing goes back to ancient civilisations where tribes used repetivive beats and rythms in their rituals to awaken the giant within, or whatever. Anyways, this is trance. Look up the word trance in the dictionary and it will give you a definition that best describes this track. Immensely satifying to listen to, it gets you moving. I like the techniques applied in the song. The drums and the bass start out mellow and build up gradually. The song is addictive coz it creates a sense of anticipation from the beginning of the song right till the end there's a sense of mellow build-up happening, which people (unless into music production) will probably not notice. All in all, a true favourite of mine, a true classic that everyone into trance should have in their collection. For best results, buy the vinyl version, don't settle for a half arsed remix on a compilation cd. Cheers. 5 out of 5 stars.
