Description Another Day At The Office offers an exclusive look at the `World's Number 1 DJ,' Tiesto on the road. Following Tiesto beginning in Summer 2002 through his final DJ performance of 2002, New Year's Eve in New York City, cameras captured almost every aspect about the life of a DJ on tour, and Tiesto in general. Shot on-location from such high-profile international festivals and events such as Cream Ibiza and Moby's North American Area2 tour, exclusive footage from in-stores and meet-and-greet sessions and insightful interviews, Tiesto tells all about his preparation before a performance, his rise to fame and of course his music. Encoded in both Dolby Stereo and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound, the music featured on Another Day... includes such Black Hole Recordings artists as Umek, Mark Norman, DJ Ton T.B., Andain, DJ Cor Fijneman, Filterheadz, Mr. Sam vs. Fred Baker and of course DJ Tiesto himself. Included on the DVD are also lots of for-the-fans extras including a revealing 44-minute interview with Tiesto shot in Miami in 2002.

You think you know, but you have no idea... December 29, 2005 D. Gold (New York, NY) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is like VH1's "Behind The Music" for Tijs Verwest (a.k.a. DJ Tiesto). It is the first of it's kind (at least that I've seen) in the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) genre. Why, you ask? I'll tell you why. It chronicles his LIFESTYLE - an enviable lifestyle, at that. See where he grew up in Breda, Netherlands. See his record store, "Magik Musik", and meet DJs Cor Fijneman and Montana (who, consequently, are a starting to make a name for themselves these days in the EDM scene). See the Black Hole Recording Studio, where most of his club hits were erected. See him open his fan mail. See him open and listen to his promo records. Really, the only things you don't get to see him do in this video, are sleep (although he looks pretty fatigued at one point), use the toilet and make love. Other than that, you pretty much see it all. The reason I gave it a 5-star rating is because 1) it pioneered new territory in this genre, 2) it ranks high on the re-watchability scale (something that's very important to me), and 3) it contains a pretty gripping 45-minute interview (an "Extra" on the disc), where he and his interviewer stroll the streets of South Beach, Miami, and peruse a record store together. Sweet. Please feel free to disagree with my opinion. Let us compare opinions, invite a few more points of view, and debate, like the humans we are.
a master at work October 7, 2005 trance fanatic (texas, united states) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
this is tiesto, you can't get to know the master without fully appreciating his work, and if you buy this DVD hoping to get a glimpse at the real tiesto, then think again. If you are a fan, you should allready KNOW that tiesto is his music, and the music is him. Should you not understand the music, you will not understand who he is, what private life that he does have, (when he's not blowing us away with his music) he probably wants to keep, that's why they called it ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE....
on a finer point. the dvd is a great buy in my opinion. it would be a shame to love his music, without being able to see how he does it.
