Urban Train

Urban Train is absolute Euphoria. There is no other way to describe it. Urban Train is actually another version of the Kid Vicious song "Re-Form" (featured on Trance Nation 2001). I know this because DJ Tiesto remixed it, both Re-Form and Urban Train are on Tiesto's Magik Muzik label, and they are both written (on Urban Train co-written with DJ Tiesto) by Ronald Van Greenwood aka Kid Vicious. Nevertheless, Urban Train isn't some clever trick towards the market. Urban Train is the name of the vocal version. It features the vocals of Kirsty Hawkshaw (heard on BT's "Dreaming." Suburban Train is the instrumental mix, which doesn't take away from the recording. They are both equally Euphoric. Here's a review of the tracks.

1. Urban Train (Vocal Edit)
Too bad Nebula only released an edit of the Vocal Mix.
However, Kirsty's vocal's sound so good with DJ Tiesto's
production (Think Tiesto's mix of BT's "Dreaming), the
vocal edit is worth buying this CD alone!!!

2. Suburban Train (Original Mix)
Suburban Train is an instrumental mix to Urban Train.
This track is equally pleasing and is pure delight to
the ears.

3. Suburban Train (Way Out West Remix)
Before you buy this CD, I don't want you to give your hopes
up about the Way Out West Remix. The most this remix has
in common with Suburban Train is it's sound effects. It
features about 30 seconds of the Euphoric synths featured
in Urban Train, but that's it. However, even though it
doesn't have vocals (It being a remix of Suburban Train, not
Urban Train) and not having that much likeness to Suburban
Train, the mix is still great. The sound effects along with
Way Out West own synths and breakbeats are great. For those
of you who have not heard Way Out West before, they have a
style that is compared to Hybrid. This mix is hot!!!

So that is why I give this CD 5 stars. It's excellent and essential for any true DJ Tiesto or trance fan for that matter. If you do want an extended mix of Urban Train, Nettwerk (the label that DJ Tiesto is released on in the US) is releasing a Maxi-Single of Urban Train on November 6th. Having a few Nettwerk singles, there is without a doubt that this single will feature the full Urban Train mix. And even if it doesn't, this version of the single is a perfect addition to any CD collection. Once again DJ Tiesto has prooved that he is a leader
of the new school and isn't goin anywhere for quite some time.
