Album Description First released in 1995, in conjunction with The Charlatans self-titled fourth album. This previously out of print ep was the result of a fruitful back and forth working relationship that began in 1994 with The Charlatan's 'Jesus Hairdo' single. Tracks 'Toothache' (Chemical Risk Mix), 'Chemical Risk Dub' (Toothache Mix), 'Nine Acre Dust', 'Toothache' (Instrumental Mix), 'Patrol' (Chemical Brothers Mix). Standard jewel case.

Singled out April 4, 2001 Greekfreak (Pusan Korea (South)) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know what it is about cd maxi-singles... often they're full of pointless remixes, and other times they've got nothing but sheer brilliance throughout the aluminum. This is somewhere in between. The final two mixes of "Toothache" and "Patrol" are great stuff... and they ostensibly could have been put on one of the Charlatans' LPs without having to resort to the 'maxi-single' blues. The rest is fairly uninteresting, and it's decidedly not for die-hard Charlatans fans. It'll keep up the interest of the electronica set, and is pretty useful in a DJ situation. But it's not essential.
charlatans remixed by Chemmies June 10, 2000 DJ Orinj Joos (Pittsburgh, PA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you're a Charlatans UK fan, you'll probably want to skip this. This single/EP is more of a showcase of the Chemical Brothers. It's remixes and such made by Tom and Ed of Charlatans songs. That said, it's pretty good. I mean, it's no DYOH, but it's good...I recommend it.
