What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs September 30, 2008 Heather Ezzy (Maynard, MA USA) I love this book because it gives the Christian perspective,Creationism, as to what it was like when the dinosaurs were around and what might have happened to them.
Too sad to be really funny August 28, 2008 Michael Martin (NYC) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
What an awful joke on children this book is. I have 4 nephews and a niece on the way and I cannot imagine having so little regard for them that I would give them a book like this.
Listen, your religious beliefs do not constitute sound understanding. You might wish that they did and you might even have people tell you that they do but they do not.
As for the reviewer here who claimed this is the first dino book he didn't need to edit, sir, what qualifies you to edit such a book in the first place?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....oh, wait, you're serious.....HAHAHAHAHAHAH August 28, 2008 John Kinsey (Austin, TX United States) 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
Wait, wait, you're telling me that a magical sky wizard with superpowers who lives in the clouds makes more sense than fossil records and scientific method? C'mon people, this is the 21st century! Which brings me to another point....in the Bible Jesus said that we would return before the last disciple died. Hmm. Guess that means your boy is, oh, 1964 years late. Awkward....oh, oh, I know! How about another one of your convenient 'oh, this part is metaphorical' moves! Yeah, brilliant.
This is Science? March 14, 2008 D J (Pittsburgh PA) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
My son, who loves dinosaurs, was given this book as a gift from a relative who is into the Young Earth movement. As a Christian, I am disturbed at the latitude the author takes with the Bible. This book would be laughable if it were not so infuriating. Pure indoctrination into the Young Earth cult, that is all that this book is.

After reading the first sixteen pages of "The Great Dinosaur Mystery and the Bible" my 7 yo child asked me "Mom is there another book on dinosaurs which isn't so scary?" After doing an internet search I discovered this gem of a book by John Morris and Ken Ham titled "What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs?"This book is a wonderful tool to teach your children about dinosaurs from the view point of "creationsim/intellingent design." The book is written on a level which a child can understand and the illustrations are superb! I give this book two thumbs up!
