5 out of 5 stars Why re-create the same pop?   December 7, 2008
J. Jacomowitz (Suffern, NY United States)
To know McCartney is to know the Beatles. To know the Beatles is to know how to experiment with music. McCartney albums as of late have been great, especially the last two "Chaos...." and "Memory Almost Full", but you know to know The Fireman. McCartney experiments here and at the same time, creates incredible music. If you don't understand it, save us from writing an uneducated bad review.

1 out of 5 stars Chaos is the right word to describe this.   December 2, 2008

I, too, downloaded this, listened to it, and deleted it. It's Paul in his "I'm a ROCK STAR, dammit!" mode. Rock star in this sense means screaming incoherently to bad heavy metal guitar. Terrible in every way. He doesn't seem to realize that torturing his vocal cords this way has damaged his singing voice, apparently permanently. I wish he'd give up on attempting to be the "ultimate ROCK STAR." He should be happy with being the real "king of pop."

5 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!!!!   December 2, 2008

Paul has many, many sides to him. This cut is rockin', experimental and awesome! Musical genius - PERIOD.

2 out of 5 stars I hate to complain about a free song but...   November 30, 2008

I saw this compared to some of McCartney's previous work, including some of the songs from his Beatle days. Let me say this does not compare favorably with anything I've heard from McCartney before. Hopefully the rest of the album isn't this dreadful. Despite some of the reviews, this isn't experimental in any way; it's just loose, rambling and pointless.

1 out of 5 stars ZERO STARS. Come OOOOONNN Paul, we're not fools!   November 29, 2008

Awful! Surely they are taking the mickey out of us! I honestly thought I had two songs going at the same time on my computer. NOISE. Awful.
