Tiesto transforms "Southern Sun" into an epic masterpiece! April 20, 2003

I first heard this song while I was still living in the states (I'm in Japan now) when I bought Tiesto's ISOS3. Chills ran through me when I first heard this song! I also bought Oakenfold's "Bunkka" just to hear what the original version was like. I really liked his beat. This single begins with the short (but still great) radio edit of the original. Then comes another of Oakey's hits "Ready Steady Go" which is pretty good. But BY FAR the Tiesto mix of "Southern Sun" is the best on this CD! It is currently my all time favorite song! I can barely describe this work of art. It has a soothing beat, a beautiful melody and mezmorising vocals. Close your eyes as you listen to the soft, angelic synth that carries Carla Werner's breathtaking voice into the heavens. I guarantee you will fall in love with this masterpiece just as I have.
