Moby Has a Strong Artistic Vision, but He was also Willing to Listen to Any Suggestions that I Had, which Made Me Feel a Real Part of the Song. I Hope We Can Do More in the Future." Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars More remixes...   June 11, 2008
Said Head (MN, USA)
Do people really care about all the remixes? I mean, there are so many! This single has three parts to it just to make room for all of them. I mean, seriously.

It's a good song, but enough with the remixes.

5 out of 5 stars Moby chooses Deborah Harry for New York New York vocals   July 15, 2007
Mark D. R. Stern (Dallas, TX United States)
Moby originally did his own vocals on this sole new track, "New York New York" for his best of CD: "Go-the very best of Moby". But, before its final release he called in the best person to do the vocals for this song, Deborah Harry. Why this was released as three CD singles is a mystery. Part three has all the tracks that are on part 1 and part 2. Part 2 has the dance remixes of the song, but lacks the single version and remix of "Go". But, if you can not get part 3, part 2 is an essential addition whether you are a fan of Moby or Deborah Harry to the best of CD.

5 out of 5 stars Moby...it does a Debbie Harry good!   December 17, 2006
Daniel W. Kelly (Long Island, NY United States)
Despite what the editorial review says on amazon, this is not "that" song--neither the showtune NOR the Nina Hagen track. This is a total MOby original. And he takes Debbie Harry back to the sounds that she does best. This is a brilliant retro new wave/electro/house track. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of the other versions of the single with more mixes, although the two best versions are the original mix and the HOT Armand Van Helden mix, which sounds like a hybrid of new order drumrolls from "Blue Monday" combined with the pulsing synthline from Blondie's "War Child." We could only wish Debbie would release a whole album like this.
