5 out of 5 stars forget Moby, Ferry Corsten, folks   May 9, 2003

forget about moby.. if you like the ferry corsten mix (which is out of this world), check out ferry under other names: System F, Gouryella (him and dj teisto), Vimana.. just to mention a couple. he is really one hell of a producer. everything he puts out is filled with energy and emotion. high quality songs. i recommend system f's, "out of the blue" and "solstice." you WILL love those songs, trust me, if you liked corsten here. oh and Gouryella... ferry and tiesto... UNBELIEVABLE SONGS! there is only four... but i recommend getting ALL. bc they are so unbelievably awesome. i cant tell you.. between the melodies and the rolling bassline, and the hooks, and the synths, and the melodies.. did i mention the melodies? ferry is great. check him out. itll open up a whole other world of electronic music if youve never heard it before.

hands down, ferry is the best producer out right now.

5 out of 5 stars Buy it just for the Ferry Corsten mix   December 20, 2000

I am just going to pretend the other two mixes don't even exist in this review because 1) while the ATB mix is-as always- cute, it's certainly not a masterpiece, plus their sound seems to take over and totally disregard the original song and 2)the third one I really didn't enjoy very much (it's somewhat dark and scary) and I don't even recall who did it. The Ferry Corsten mix, however, is AWESOME! I swear, I was practically in tears the first time I heard it and have made everyone I know go out and buy this single. It has the perfect amount of downtime before the song starts to build you up again and before you know it, you are dancing around like a maniac! It has an amazing sound-lots of happy energy! Six minutes pass like six seconds. I think I have listened to this song about 50 times in the past week and it still gets me pumped up. C'mon! Just try it. It's only a single so what do you have to lose! I can almost guarantee that you'll like it!

4 out of 5 stars 3 different world   May 20, 2000
Y. Ronnen (Toronto, CA)
The remix cd contains 3 different mixes for this track by today's top DJs. Every DJ gave his own sound to the track, and none of the remixes is even close to the original, lowbeat version. Is it better? Depeneds if you like club tunes. I liked the mixes, and I can't compare the to the original - it's simply a different thing.

The ATB mix is the disappointing one. You can hardly hear the unique ATB sound in that mix, and for some reason it seems as if the vocals are not synchronized with the beat...It seems that ATB didn't have any idea for a remix to this song.

The Ferry Corsten remix is simply a killer. Corsten managed to bring his smashing club-trance sound to the tune, added a great melody and still kept a link to the song. This is the hottest track in the cd.

The subsonic legacy remix is a fantastic track too. It is not a floor burning track like ATB's and Corstern's remixes, but it really sounds like a Moby track. You could place this track in Moby's "play", and you would think it is one of his "real" tracks. The sound reminds me something between "Natural Blues" and "Run On". So it's a great mix too.

It is really a successful remix cd, and it gives new life for this track.
