Don't Waste your Money On This CD August 1, 2007 Robert Tarbell (Nashville, TN) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this CD based on my purchase of the Clubber's Guide Summer 2006 CD. The 2006 CD was fantastic! The 2007 CD was a complete disappointment!
Most good, this one..not so good July 28, 2007 Rikter8 (Michigan, USA) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I own countless Ministry of Sound compilations, and for the most part have been pretty good. The quality of some of the dubs have been degrading, and blending in noise that just shouldn't be there. Overall MOS albums rock, and are the best way to get every flavor your looking for.
This one in my opinion, needs to be off the books... There were only about 4 songs off of 2 CD's that were really mainstream and upbeat. The rest were strange almost alternative songs that had me constantly fast forwarding through. If your looking for a high energy feel good album, skip this one.
Hed Kandi Beach House 2007 goes well after this compilation July 22, 2007 J. Ramos 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is not the best Euro Dance compilation I have purchased this year but it does hold me out until the next Ministry of Sound Annual 2008 compilation. I have heard most of the tracks on this double disc on other compilation but it is nice to hear some stand out tracks like Booty Luv's Shine and Rise Up. There is a good section of beat music, which is not really my taste, but they are not so repetitive as to have me press Fast Forward. The lyric driven songs, however, are on point. A good listen while at work or commuting. Do not buy the US version of any Ministry of Sound compilation as the track listing may differ significantly. I rather pay extra for the import version.
