| Customer Reviews:
Nice surprise from a mainstream label August 4, 2007 B. Costa (Miami, FL USA) MOS has always been known for the main stream type of release for the masses. The Sessions series has really gone in a different direction deliveries disc after disc of pumping, thumping good music.
Mark Knight (relatively unknown DJ in the states) shows us how things are done starting with the standout "I Like That" followed by the superb "Walking In My Sleep." My personal favorite on disc one is the classic "Time Is Now" with the melodic description of what clubbing should be about. I believe this track was first introduced on one of the Sander K. releases years ago. I mean...it is about the music and shouldn't be about the velvet ropes, the champaign, VIP Wristbands, the dress codes and BS that clubbing in South Beach has become. Rarely, and saddly is it about the "music" anymore. The last track of disc one "Moss" is another classic and is the perfect ending to a great disc.
Disc 2 shows us more of the same with "All Alone". You'll know what I'm talking about when you hear it. I won't bore you with the intricate details of where each song originated except for the honorable mention of the Fanciulli "Lucky Heather" release that makes an appearance on this Comp. as well as another perfect closing with "Sandcastles".
The Sessions releases should be a staple of your House collection.
