Petalpusher Miguel Mig's music is hard to dislike: He's got a knack for getting people dancing. I bought Nite:Life 03 on a whim - and never looked back! This is his best work since `Get Salted'. Mig's blend of tracked beats (without any Lisa Shaw). This is a CD bent on a danceability scale of 10.
`Next Evidence', `Do It', and Future Flight' play similar beats but deviate in their color. These initial tracks establish the CD's framework. Mig's overlapping beats allows one to hear new beast when listening. `Especialle' adds South American beats and is hard not to play loud (`...Starlight, ooooh'). `Petalpushing' and `Cafe Style' play clever and deep beats, while `Time Out' pulls a catchy, slow song with really nice bass lines.
I recommend this to any Miguel Mig's or Naked Music fan. This CD will not disappoint!

Maybe not as good as his Nude TEmpo album but still a power house CD that flows with good beats and easy listening. Great CD to put on while your chillin on your deck on a nice summer night with friends.

This album is funkfreakingtastic. If you are into that Deep House vibe and want to just sink down into the solid beat massage then this gem is for you. I absolutely adore Miguel Migs and this album is definitely a great example of his work. Highly recommended.

So much music out there doesn't even strike the hope of being sincere. I believe this Artist's talent is true and he is well on his way.I was blown away by his efforts on the first Nude Dimensions CD and have waited to see what might come next. "nite:life 03" is Miguel's profound technique at work yet again. "Fresh & Low (track 6),is some of the best progressive Latin interpretation you will ever witness. With the energy of "Santana and the driving beat of "War", this Salsa/ Bossa Nova track is beautifully blended. I can hope that more of this Man's tenor will follow.

One of the more prolific men on the west coast, Miguel Migs has an absolute truck load of releases in the hopper or coming out soon. Under his name and Petalpusher alias are some of Naked Music's best singles (and excellent comp Nude Dimensions volume 1), there's a Petalpusher album due soon, a San Francisco Sessions coming for OM records, another mix Exposed later on...and a Britney Spears track thrown in as well.He's also cut some singles for British label NRK, leading to Nite Life 03, dedicated to "all real soul music lovers." That pretty much speaks for his brand of emotional, glossy house, and what you get here. Results are mixed, often track to track. Deep Theory's "Do it" delivers an enchanting dub, followed by Migs' less enticing "Future Flight," with lyrics, "free your soul, fly to the stars." Dittos the uplifting "Petalpushing" in contrast to gooey soul number "Starlight." Again with "Find a Way" and more repetitive "Cafe Style." And so on, over 17 cuts. Good stuff, if your tastes are broad enough to handle it, but for many a bit too sugary and polite.
