relaxing engaging music November 19, 2008 Russell J. Arnold You know music is good when it takes you from the real world and deposits you in another B. Fleischman does this with this album, it is both relaxing and engaging.
gets it March 11, 2008 01 very mellow and in my opinion better than most similar artists because at the same time as being mellow it's also very catchy, the melody is very good
but then also the chord progressions have a tendency to overdo their simplicity sometimes (4 beautiful chords repeated for a long long time with varying accompaniment, sometimes it gets old before the end of the song, depending on what you are looking for)
i really like the disc regardless of any flaws and i would suggest it to anyone sincerely
it moves. best track for me is #2, "It's All So"

Nothing in IDM or any other electronic music subgenre compares to the emotion evinced on this album. Choir of Empty Beds is Fleischman's best. Pop Loops was a prelude to this album. Welcome Tourist (I'm surprised they don't carry his other albums here) is a 2 CD set, and a bit more stripped down then this, with live intruments and vocals in stilted English.
Lovely October 10, 2001 G. T. A. Bath (New Orleans) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
lovely pastoral electronica from the austrian bloke. Melodious and fluid with a nice warp vibe. I would say that its not as effective as his earlier Pop Loops For Breakfast on Charizma, but then that really is a gorgous piece of digital dementia. Well worth a perusal, me think
Where Do I Begin October 10, 2001 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I first heard this album about nine months. I have to admit that its still a cd I put in today. It's a fantastic piece of work. The music on this cd is very mellow downtempo. As far as simular artist, I put this artist up there with Boards of Canada and Seelenluft. If your looking for something new than give this a listen to and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Cheers!
