Album Description This new studio album features once again prestigious and talented artists : Noemi, the singer of the band Zimpala (that you discovered on the Hotel Costes 9), is the sweet voice of "Ghosts & Roses", the first single extract from the album. The warm voice of Anthony Bambury has impressed Stephane Pompougnac on the song "Hello Mademoiselle", which reminds the greatest of the american soul music, and giving his name to the album. The hip-hop slam of "Mondes Paralleles" is sung by the newcomer Neho and, as a special guest, Alain Chamfort, one of the best french singers for almost 30 years, offers his voice to the song "Ingrate". The other interprets featuring on the album are Tiger Lily (Better Days), Linda Lee Hopkins (Here's To You), Fred Cotegahh (Just To Love You), and his intimate friend Charles Schillings (Sunday Drive), the famous French DJ and house producer. For Stephane Pompougnac, this second album is the perfect way to communicate his artistic sensitivity to all the music lovers, whether they listen to the Hotel Costes compilations or not, in the lands of french pop, hip-hop and of course electronic music, that he composes and produces with his feeling and the elegant fluidity that makes his brand. 2007.
Album Details 2007 Sophomore Release from the Man Whose Name Has Been Synonymous with Paris' Hotel Costes and Its Popular CD Compilation Series (Having Sold in Excess of 2. 5 Million Copies Worldwide) for More Than a Decade. "Hello Mademoiselle" Showcases Pompounac's DEEP, Artistically Sensitive Songwriting, Rap and (Naturally) his Unique Talent of Creating the Interesting Electro, Lounge and House Music Sounds. He Produces his Art with Great Verve and an Elegant Fluidity, Building an Intimate Electro-pop Odyssey Inspired by the Pure Spirit of Hotel Costes. Guest Appearances on this Outing Include French Singing Legend Alain Chamfort and Cutting Edge Danish Producer Morten Varano from Slow Train.

POMPYS FOLLOW UP TO "LIVING ON THE EDGE"ADVANCES HIS INTERNATIONAL MUSIC CAREER BY NO LONGER RELYING ON OTHER ARTISTS MATERIAL - HELLO MADEMOISELLE CONTAINS FIFTEEN PERSONALLY PRODUCED TRACKS FEATURING HIS FAVORITE VOCALISTS - INSTEAD OF PLAYING IT SAFE BY STICKING WITH A REVAMPED HOTEL COSTE COMPILATION STEPHANE CREATES A DISTINCTIVE,MODERN AND SURPRISINGLY UNIQUE MUSICAL STATEMENT OF WHERE HE'S GOING.
THERES PLENTY OF LIGHT AND SHADE ON HELLO - SOME BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED TRACKS LIKE UNION SQUARE - CLOCK AND SORRY FEEL POWERFULL ENOUGH TO BE RIGHT OUT OF SOME AMAZING MOVIE - HIS REWORKING OF CANNED HEATS ON THE ROAD AGAIN IS NOTHING SHORT OF BRILLIANCE - SUNDAY DRIVE - INGRATE - JUST TO LOVE YOU ARE ALL FRESH POMPOUGNAC ARRANGEMENTS THAT TAKE HIM FROM DJ TO MAJOR PRODUCER - MERCI MONSIEUR. "'HELLO MADEMOISELLE" ON A SCALE OF ONE TO TEN IS WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT AN EIGHT - TIME TO SAY HELLO TO STEPHANE POMPOUGNAC TOUT DE SUITE.

Great Disc, New Music January 25, 2008 K. Guyton (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a really great disc. My original fear was that this would turn out to be just slightly different variations of "Costes" tracks, like his last attempt at a solo disc. Not the case. New music here and a very smooth beat that flows nicely from track to track. The tracks are pretty chill, yet upbeat, without getting too bizarre like the last couple Costes CDs.
Great!!! December 29, 2007 Iron (Mexico) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Stephane Pompougnac does a perfect job on this album. Just what expected. Great music!!! Great performance and amazing taste. I can't wait for the next master piece.
one of my favorites August 28, 2007 Oscar Duran (Omaha, NE) If you're into the Lounge genre. This CD is a must have. The Hotel Costes CD's were nice but this CD exceeded all my expectations, and definatly shows his mastery of production.
Pompognac proves yet another time his artistic stature August 15, 2007 A. M. Vliegenthart (The Netherlands) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
After 9 Hotel Costes CD's, with this new album Stephane Pompougnac proves why he's always on top of his era is sampling and recreating music lines in a wholistic, almost organic structure. This album will remain one of my favorites on my iPod for some time to come
