Interesting interpretation of an underrated song April 24, 2005 Brant Aycock (Charlotte, NC USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The original song is indeed from the "Flashdance" soundtrack, but this track is not the Irene Cara title song. It's a reworking of Shandi Sinnamon's "He's a Dream". The instrumentation and vocals are pretty true to the original, but for some reason they've cut out the chorus. One is left with just the guitars and lyrics. I love the updated sound, but it left me a bit frustrated waiting for the powerful chorus to kick in, and it never does! I'd like to hear a remix that includes the chorus verse as well. Overall, it's still a good dance track.
FROM Flashdance...but not "What a feelin" March 22, 2005 Daniel W. Kelly (Long Island, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an interesting remix/remake of the track "He's a Dream" from the original soundtrack to Flashdance. The female vocals sound like they may have been rerecorded and not the original artist, but the instrumental sample sounds like it's from the original track. Either way, it has a variety of hot mixes, slower tempo than most house music. Definitely a must have for fans of the sountrack, and this song in particular.
