Brilliant song... July 9, 2003 Asad (California, United States) Great uptempo dance track with catchy hooks and an early '80s feel. Brilliant.
An addictive, crowd-pleasing blend of dance and electronic December 6, 2002 Veggiechiliqueen David Guetta is a French DJ, nightclub owner and promoter of ultra-chic Parisian club nights. "Love Don't Let Me Go" is taken from his recently released album "Just a Little More Love" on Virgin Records. "Love Don't Let Me Go" is an uptempo, mildly back-to-the-80s blend of dance/electronic influences, with pulsing synth, electronic drums and bass, and edgy strings taking the lead, along with the marvelous voice of Chris Willis, layered and harmonized in several places, complete with vocal effects. The whole song is carried by the unrelenting pulsating tension and crescendos, which makes it a perfect choice for clubs ("Love Don't Let Me Go" has been in the megaclubs in Ibiza and Madrid all summer). "Love Don't Let Me Go" is one of three current singles taken from "Just A Little More Love" (the others are "People Come, People Go" and "Just A Little More Love").I first heard David Guetta's "Love Don't Let Me Go" (with vocals by Chris Willis) on a Spanish TV ad for the "Pioneer: the Album" Volume 3 box set and was instantly hooked. I rushed out to buy the single and listened to it for hours. My favourite tracks are track one (edit) and three (the Belamour remix). I didn't really care for the house mix, but then again I'm not a big fan of house. The fourth track is a video (which I haven't had the opportunity to watch yet) for "Love Don't Let Me Go." This is my absolute favourite dance/club song of the year--no small feat here in Spain when there are hundreds of Ibiza/club/electronica compilations crowding the shelves and airwaves.
