Great Introduction to Dance Music for any casual fan November 7, 2003 Rogelio Guzman (San Juan, Puerto Rico USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The being the last entry in the MTV Party To Go series, I should say it went out with a bang!. This time instead of compiling the usual hip hop & pop songs with 3 or 4 dance remixes, they went on with full on dance remixes, some not even released on cd before by the usual array of MTV artists like Pink, Backstreet Boys, DMX, Bloodhound Gang, Brian McKnight, Montell Jordan, Joe. Still some real dance music artits make and apperance like Amber, Sonique, New Life Crisis, Malina & Thunderpuss. Those more familiar with dance music would consider this collection cheese or crap. But for a casual listener looking for a good dance cd with recognizable songs this cd is for you. Mixed by the amazing Thunderpuss duo (R.I.P.) the flow is flawless, keeping the energy intact to the point you just cant help but dance yourself. Too Bad Tommy Boy hasn't put out anymore volumes of this series out. They all served as little time capsules of what were dancing to in the 90s. and they are certainly much better than that crappy "NOW! THis is..." series. Certainly a must to have!
For ALL Clubheadz! March 30, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are a clubhead or you love dance mixes or you like club mixes of popular songs then this is for you! It's just like going to the club but it's free and its great excercise music! (ha ha ha) It is mixed just like it would be in the club and is mixed by 2 of the greatest remixers/DJ's of all time.....THUNDERPUSS! This is a hit and everyone should get it because it is a great addition to anyone's CD collection! The songs are all the good cuts and theyare remixed great! I wish thunderpuss would have remixed all of them and then mixed the CD together because their sound is great!
Some of the best from The Beatles! June 16, 2001 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the 1st CD where the Beatles wrote all of the songs on it. The midpoint of the Beatles career, other bands were attempting to get ahead in the ratings. I'm not very happy with the song, "Girl", it has no real tune and is awful compared to other songs on the album. Most of these songs are ballads which you don't see very often with the Beatles. This album actually really boosted Beatle's popularity in France with the hit "Michelle" which is half English and half French. Rubber Soul is the first Beatles album I got and i've got all of there CD's now. I reccomend it to anyone interested in 60's rock/pop.
Must Have CD for a great time! June 3, 2001 gaby serratos (Los Angeles, California United States) My first impresion of this CD was that it was going to be okay with one or two good tracks. Boy was I wrong ! the first track by New Life Crisis was astounding and is a great song to dance to. Another thing I loved was it made songs that were intended to be sad and somber transformed them into danceable tunes . I love this album ! great songs guarantees a good time , buy this album the money worth it !!
Must Buy for Dance Music Fans May 7, 2001 G. J. Lutz (Dana Point, California) What makes this one of the best dance remix CDs out now is the fact that MTV tapped Thunderpuss to do the mixing. They are two of the hottest DJ/remixers today. This is a MUST HAVE and has been spinning in my car since the day I got it from...(the website).
