| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description The Universal Religion concept embodies recordings that work in the car, at home on the stereo or in a club. Universal Religion 3 was recorded live on August 21st, 2007 at the legendary Amnesia club on Ibiza. In typical Ibizan style, an unplanned set list became the perfect CD release: a spontaneous selection of records that embodied the Universal Religion concept against the buzz of a crowd enjoying a world-renowned club. Van Buuren feels that Amnesia is the best club on the island and one of his favourite places to spin. 'It adds to the feeling, the experience, so you can feel like you're there, having a great time with your friends.' While most albums are meticulously planned, this mix is as organic as it gets, making it a unique capsule from one heady night on Isla Blanca. 'Ihad the first two tracks lined up, and the rest I just chose as I played, gauged on the reaction from the dancefloor,' says Armin. 'Tracks like Big Sky, Sunlounger and Daydream are pure Balearic gems. It's scary to record something live but once the music starts flowing you lose yourself to it.' Avex/Armada 2007

same as "Universal Religion 2008" January 14, 2008 Jane (Canberra, Australia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I also wrote this review for UR 2008; I bought my trance CDs in bulk in December, and just knew the Universal Religion one would be good, being by AVB on a live set. The other reviews say well how the CD is good. I just wanted to say that this is exactly the same as Universal Religion Chapter 3 (which has a cardboard cover as the only difference, that I can see), which I ordered as well as this one. The Chapter 3 CD doesn't have a tracklisting on amazon or a picture, so I don't know how I could have known. Being a good CD, I don't feel too bad about the double purchase.
Release yourself, Its a big Sky - Armin is #1 October 25, 2007 C. Versandi (Naples Italy) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Armin has come with a new live CD from Ibiza and have to say this CD trully captures the Ibiza feel. The opening track by sunlounger could not have been a better selection and builds gradually from there, When you get to track Six he shifts the gears and drops in Day Dream by Markus Schulz and this is an amazing track, he holds the energy and then totally launched you into space with the Doppler effects "Beauty Hides in the Deep" and the John O'Calaghan's track Big Sky. Big Sky is the kind of track that will get stuck in your head and will sing it out loud too! If you are new to Trance this is for you. If you are an Armin Fan, do not pass this CD up what so ever! Its a must have! It sucks you in.
