Like all the others that posted their reviews, I've been listening to Trance for quite some time. I bought this CD at a time when I almost gave up on this kind of music. Why give up on Trance? Well, personally, there are few Mixes out there that can hold the attention of the average listener. Its a fact that many people automatically label Trance as monotonous and boring. However, this Mix by ATB is quite the opposite. This Euphoric, Emotionally Generated Mix brings life to Trance. I'm pleased to have found this Mix.
Final thoughts: I'm perplexed why anybody would rate this CD two stars. "No Silence", also by ATB, cannot be compared to this CD since that album is almost completely different but still an ATB signature creation. No Silence contains more vocal trance, and when compared to a Mix there is a big difference. Rating this CD, "DJ in the Mix", so poorly is an injustice to ATB and his productions. He happens to be #8 on the DJ List; One of the world's top 10 DJs! I voice this opinion because I happen to own both of these CDs ( No Silence / Dj in the Mix ). Although each create a different feeling with a different style, they are both awesome and from the same source - ATB. Andre Tenneberger has skill; Haters,.. Just give it up for ATB!

ATB has been ranked as one of the worlds top 10 D.J's and after listening to this cd it becomes apperant why. the songs are incredibly full and each have a sound of there own while still haveing the same basic sound that can be related to atb yet are still completely independant from his style. Also each song is mixed flawlessly making you wounder when the song you'd just been listening to ended. Even if your not a fan of ATB this cd is still a must have.

I bought this CD about 2 years ago, back when DJ favoritism was really bad. It still exists, but just isn't as bad, cause alot of DJs actually work together now when it comes to providing insight or producing and such.
This has always been a special CD in my collection, and I felt compelled to write a review after seeing someone gave it 2 stars I believe.
The track selection was great, but I knew this CD would get discredited some because ATB made this a DJ mix, and you can tell in the first couple of songs, it has an almost live feel, and he's using different types of transitions, as opposed to pushing something out via ableton live that is already beatmatched and doesn't need to use these DJing techniques. Don't get me wrong though, because I love mixes that have used that software, also. So I'm in no way being biased, I'm just saying at first, it will be something you aren't used to, but it is a true DJ mix, and you'll come to respect that as I did hopefully.

This is definately a treat from the usual ATB. This is one of my favorite two disc sets... truly amazing. Buy it, and enjoy the journey. You won't be disappointed when it's over!!

This has to be one of the best trance albums ever, although slightly flawed. Disc one is a little weak after the first two tracks, but disc two is truly awesome, especially "Binary Finary" and "In My Dreams". Better than Tiesto, PVD, and Oakenfold. Why? Because it has emotion and has moments of pure bliss. This music makes me feel intelligent and young again. BTW, I am 52 years old (maybe you noticed I can spell)
